Aaron and I have been drawing a lot lately and have been into crafts.

I can't stop spray-painting things like this blue candlestick.

When All Else Fails, Simplify

Instead of making a long list of goals which I will inevitably break--every New Year, or often season, I try to simplify my life as well as my home.

When the Christmas decor is gone, I delight in purging old stuff that I don't need or use. I also like to reinvent my living space by switching artwork, vases etc. Everything feels shiny, new and invigorated.

A good bathroom scrub-down always helps as well.
A bath with incense or candles is most inviting with a sparkly tub.
